Hey everyone,
I'm Craig, from Scotland. I'm 50, first computer I had a play on was a homebrew Apple 1, and my first computer was a ZX81.
I'm currently working for a charity that refurbishes donated computers for disadvantaged communities, currently equipping schools across Malawi, Africa.
I'm hoping I can get some help and info for defeating some of the BIOS locks, etc, we often hit; I really don't like sending otherwise decent hardware to the scrap pile when it could be out there helping someone learn how to make our world a better place.Comment

Hello, I'm new in this forum. I'm from Portugal.
I've studied automotive engineering and I quite enjoyed electronics, specially micro-controllers. Then came across Youtube electronics repair videos and I fell in love with it.
Something about the ideia of component level repair and the detective work that I really enjoy. Understanding precisely what went wrong and why instead of just throwing a new part or buy a complete new product is very rewarding to me.
I hope to learn a lot on this forum.
Thank you.Comment

Hey there! I'm Jay. I've got a knack for fixing computers and dabbling in a bit of programming. I'm the person you call when your PC isn't behaving, and I've got a few coding tricks up my sleeve. I'm also a hardcore gamer and love building custom rigs to get the most out of my gaming experience. Basically, if it's tech-related, I'm all in! Nice to meet you all!!!

Hi all. I'm an old timer who is still keeping a hand in the game. I enjoy repairing things...all things from computers to cars to radio and electronics. Thirty-five years ago I became a journeyman Certified Electronics Tech in Consumer Electronics but like anything else, if you don't use it you lose it. Well, I haven't lost it entirely....let's just say I'm rusty. I still like learning and solving problems. Glad to be among you all.Comment

HI all,
I'm here because I'm into electronic engineering, board level repairs, and hardware penetration testing.
Cheers,
