ZAB/ZAB A,B/ZYJA BLOCK DIAGRAM Acer Aspire
      by sheffieldyorky
      Hey there people
While working on my Acer Aspire with the OS failing to load, I encountered a motherboard number of DA0ZHQMB6E 0 REV: E. I was getting nowhere fast or slow, for that matter.
This is what I tried, but not in any order.

On Google AND YouTube, I was getting mixed messages, try this and try that, but when you cross reference the advice it is either the wrong model (even though you enter the correct search term) a YouTube case in point, with the search term "how to...

MBR3045CT and SR3045LCT Schottky diode testing help.
      by Baste
      Hello experts,
Can anyone educate me on how to test MBR3045CT and SR3045LCT Schottky diodes? I'm totally a newbie in electronics, so forgive me if I have cheap tools. In my effort to repair a Gigabyte PSU, I stumbled upon the two diodes, which I suspect are leaky. I tested this with my two cheap multimeters and the newly bought LCR-T4 MC328, and I got confusing results. Below are my test results.

      Aneng ST182 Meter.

      Diode mode.
      MBR3045CT:
      Diode mode
      Pin 2-1 - 0.150v

      My Lenovo X380 Yoga:

      Model: 20LJS0MP00
      SN: MP1ME1R9
      BIOS: 1.41
      BOard: LA-F421P

does not accept my WWAN cards Sierra 7305 or 7455. I get the dreadful "1802 unauthorised card..." message.

I have spent hours searching for a patch and stumbled across
      https://github.com/digmorepaka/think...rmware-patches
I have tried the xx70_xx80_patches_v7.txt file (using UEFIpatch) and some patches could be applied but not
      those of the whitelist section.

      I even extracted the LenovoWmaPolicyDxe_LenovoWmaPolicyDxe...

So i've mentioned that I have this Weller WE1010 that I bought a couple years ago or right soon after they first came out. What I didn't like about it was that I left it on for almost a full 24 hours once so I installed an arduino controlled relay that was programmed to cut power at 45 minutes ... then I didn't like that it didn't have a backlight ... i work in dark-ish conditions quite a bit when im messin with this stuff so I made a solid effort to install a backlight and I actually kind of succeeded ... the iron still works but some of the segments on the display stopped working ... so i figured...

      by twinturbo
      Hi everyone..

I bought my son a ue40m5000ak at a local auction house last week as he needed a large display for his Stage Lighting Visualiser. He left it a week before testing and found it was non functional, unfortunatly that as pain as although I am a good customer of the auction room they have a 24hr test and return policy...

Usual sort of story realy, it's giving 5 flasshes on the power LED but googling gives the usualy vauge or not helpful responses.

Anyone got any experice in this model range?

Is it likly the PSU just need re-capped,...
