Yeah, thanks, I had looked there as well, but without knowledge of the exact specs of the original, it's pretty difficult to do a replacement that way.

I hear that, seems like there could be a market for these improved diffuser plates, probably the hard part would be making and getting them out and still make a profit without charging an arm and a leg. But if the chineze haven't figured out how to, with their discount child labor and the shipping advantage that they managed to pull off at the rest of the worlds expense[can search if curious], then probably nobody can.

~$130/ea for me, *if they let you buy one alone*. If they only sell in bulk, it's cheaper to buy a new tv...

if they make them out of the better material that won't melt, that would solve the melting plates, wonder what will go out next, I just don't trust samsung for quite a while now.

I Don’t trust any of the manufactures lately. I keep running into bad panels on every brand lately.
