Re: Telefunken 40DTU652 No Sound, no image, no backlight.
Thank you very much for answering. Do you think that the symptoms are compatible with the main board? a question, perhaps absurd. To flash, is it done through usb? or should the nand be desoldered? I'm a beginner, so I'm interested in buying a new main board. if i buy a new main can i buy any make and model of tv? I don't know if it should be exactly the same model. I don't mean the motherboard model, I know it must be 17mb130s

Telefunken 40DTU652 No Sound, no image, no backlight.
good evening! I have this tv with the following symptom. The tv is in standby, you turn it on, and the led blinks until it seems to start, but there is no sound or image or backlight.
When it is started for about 5-10 minutes, it goes back to standby by itself. I have taken voltages at the rear light output. with the back light connected, in standby there is 50v on the black wire and 0v on the red wire, and when you turn on the tv the voltage rises to 100v and stabilizes around 80v, with a return of 8v. The problem is that from time to time this voltage is lost and it is not stable. If you unplug the taillight the same thing happens.
I have taken output voltage measurements at the source, having 12, 5, 3.2 and 24v on and 8 and 1.4 v on standby. I am doubting the main, when the instability occurs with the rear light connected and not connected. the fixture has a 17mb130s main and a 17ips72 power supply.
Let's see what idea you can give me, very grateful in advanceTags: None

so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!!
what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!

Symptoms:
The TV turned itself off, and I haven't been able to turn it back on. The standby voltage was unstable and lower than it should be.
A weak clicking sound was coming from the transformer.
Video with clicking sound:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAduhjNtqCA
Progress:
After the transformer, I measured four Schottky diodes. DM862C and DM864C diodes readings were 003 in both directions. After detaching them from the circuit and measuring them, DM864C was the shorted one. These Schottky diodes are SB550.I... -
by KartowlHi, my TV image started showing those lines and the image faded away, but sound is still coming from it, what could be the cause and is it fixable? I thought it could be the tcon board but I red on the internet that it could be a failing panel

by nos_feratuHi everybody,
As per title says, I have an Toshiba D-LED TV set 49U5863DB made on Vestel backbone: 17MB130S motherboard, 17IPS72 power supply and VES490QNDS-2D-U12 chassis which has backlight but no image is displayed. Even so if is hooked up to a input source, sound coming up okay, picture still missing regardless the input source. There is a bit of remote interaction as you can turn on and off but that's pretty much it, there is no control on volume. What I've done so far: because there is no blinking and the TV is booting up fine, I assumed the power supply and mainboard are... -

Have backlight and sound. no LCD image.
- main board has integrated T-Con
- main board T-Con has LCD DCDC/PMIC RT6950GQW QFN68 package. Richtek chip. Can't find datasheet. Chip generates VADD (10.44V), VGH (~28V), VGL (~-14.5V)
- RT6950 pin 18-19 (clockwise) appeared to be bridged. Unlikely from my probing, looks like ball squeezage so it probably got hot
- Cleaned up bridging. Pin 17 is VGL (-14V) Pin 20 is VGH (28V). Pin 18 (I think 19 too) jumps between VGL and VGH voltage
