Sony trinitron Wega KV-HR36 picture issues

Hello,
could anyone please tell me what is likely to be causing the CRT picture quality issues as shown in the attachments and what it'd take to fix it if that is possible?

The picture has a greenish tinge, colour scan lines are separated and there can be shimmering and the bottom can be missing at first. It has slowly gotten worse over time.

It is worst when first turned on and slowly improves but not resolves over a period of approximately 90 minutes. Warmer room temperatures possibly have a positive influence.

does the tv have sentimental value? if not it might not be worth the effort if it is fixable, I'm in the U.S., they give these crt tvs away daily and they work fine.

I would like to fix it if possible as I don't like to throw out a possibly working television with a high quality picture.

CRTs were nearly worthless a couple of years ago but they are appreciating in value as working useful units are rare now.

Hi Mate, my apologies for the late post but did you ever workout what the issue was?
My HR36 has just started to display the same symptoms, i don't know where to look first, i think its something to do with the input card (MG) just because if i don't input anything the green tint goes away and the blue screen idle looks fine.
The other symptom it is some times it will randomly reset and i can hear a relay click as if i just turn on the set.
