Samsung UE65RU7379U , Question about replacing led strips

This is a curved samsung EDGE lighted TV With bad leds. Now When i opened it up i found disperser glass to be terribly burned by the leds and even has some heat stress cracks on it as you can see in pictures. I already told the customer about the issue but to be honest i dont know if replacing the leds will yield a good picture. Im thinking its probably gonna have dark spots , but do you think its worth doing this job on this condition of glass? Here are pictures

This last picture really shows the terrible condition the glass is in.
    Is this a dumpster TV?

Not worth fixing. Even if you replace leds you will see the black burn marks. And if you clean them off you will get bright hotspots unless you replace that diffuser.

There are some threads on here about this issue. Seems to happen more often with Samsung “NU” series.

About replacing individual LEDS on BL strips
          by edugimeno
          Hi There!
Having fixed 5-6 TV sets by replacing full LED strips, and having watched other people fix that by replacing just one LED in the strip, my question now is what should I consider before doing so.

At this time I have some old strips removed from TV's with all but one LED working. Are there different voltage/current LED on different strips? Are 99% of them just the same and interchangeable?

How do you find which specific model is needed for each strip? When I check if a LED is OK by attaching the multimeter leads to the individual led pads on the strips I...

LED problem on samsung UE55F6475, 2 strips work. The rest is flashing every second.
          by Kingfreddie
          Ok.. this is the story:
Have an old Samsung LED 3D TV (UE55F6475). First it started to lose light on the lower 40% of the screen now and then. Like for 10-60 mins and then it would work again. Then a bit later it just got stuck in that position. The lower 40% of the screen is dark, and it gets progressively darker the lower u go so it's obviously that LED strips where not working. I also looked for similar errors online and saw an exact copy and on that one it was faulty LED strips.

This is kinda how it looked, just that mine were at the bottom of the screen:
