Philips 60PFL8708S/12 On Infinite Boot Loop No Logo, Only Backlight

I have another tv with issues, this one remains in an infinite boot loop but won't display a logo or anything, just backlight for some seconds and then a reboot.

I have added some pics of it's guts.
Any help is much appreciated, thanks everyone.

    Edit:
I'm getting 8s of backlight, and smth of a reboot taking 15s to display another 8s of backlight. This repeats itself.

check if the MB chassis QF2EU if yes.. then you have on the MB test point SDM shorted with chassis and then plug it in wall it should pass the fault and display diagnostic report

Re: Philips 60PFL8708S/12 On Infinite Boot Loop No Logo, Only Backlight

The weak point in PHILIPS TV models assembled on the QFU1.2E LA chassis is the main SSB board (MainBoard), which usually fails after two years of operation. Its replacement is required.
The cost of the board is quite high, which sometimes raises the question of the feasibility of repairs.
Despite the efforts of the designers to make it difficult or eliminate the possibility of repairing the board, there are still options for restoring it.

Attention masters!!! You should pay attention to the drops of the compound from the bottom of the board. When trying to heat the board or reball BGA chips, the compound must be completely removed. Otherwise, there will be a short circuit of the tracks, which will significantly complicate further repair of the board.

wrong info. he wrote what are on sticker as region chassis. the main chassis code we used Fusion R2 – QF2EU from 2013 not 2014 as he wrote

look on philips firmware archive by toengel under 2013 – xxPFLxxx8

But QF2EU is not a chassis number, it is the initial firmware name (QF2EU xxxx xxxx) for the QFU1.2E LA chassis.

Is my best bet to find a replacement main board?
                          Or should I reflow it?

dont kill your tv as you did with samsung... download first the firmware and downgrade it,,, if your screen come on with upgrade every things will be fine. if not you need to check the BL if they come high and low at start up... if they are fine then go to BGA

Look, not with all usb flash drives the update will start (they just won't be seen by the TV), you need to look for old ones for 1-2 Gb
