CRT TV - Blue spark inside glass neck related to focus

Hello, when I power on the TV there is a blue little spark inside the crt glass neck that increases and decreases in intensity with the focus, when focus pot is at minimum it is invisible when it is at max it is brighter and makes some dots on the screen appearing and disappearing randomly.
The picture is fine and the TV has no problems.

I've cleaned the crt plastic socket, pins and the spark gap contacts so I don't understand what could cause it

Could some more experienced member help me to troubleshoot it ?

Some picture attached for better understanding.

    Many thanks

I am not sure if i will hit the nail on the head but two things come to mind.
    1. Your EHT is too high. I think it must be around 20KV but you would need some kind of probe to test that. If its the focus that's too high then it should be around 8 - 10 KV.
It could be a faulty LOPT.
    2. There is carbon build up in the tube due to age. This you cannot fix but a tube rejuvenator might clear it up temporarily.

      Hello, thanks for the reply.
I haven't an high voltage meter, but is it possible that the LOPT is faulty and the picture is fine except these little random dots with focus pot at max ?

Can you take a picture of the image with the sparkles? Yes, LOPT can be bad but also tube.

Hello, it isn't easy to take a picture because they are fast.
They are like little flashes of light appearing and disappearing when focus pot is at max and the blue spark inside the crt glass is brighter.
Is there a way to check if the tube is ok ?

The tube can't be good if you see spark inside it. Especially if picture is focused, but spark is still there.

                Introduction:
Hello everyone, this topic is more of a knowledge sharing and look inside type of post, but for someone working on this model of display it might be useful. Recently I bought Acer Nitro XV273 XB MIIPRZX with busted electronic, but screen was intact, price was incredibly low, so I took a gamble and bought the unit and try to fix it. As I dug inside, I found out that my motherboard was not responding, although all voltages seemed fine. I wasn't able to find any reliable information about this monitor on the web (only some pictures of motherboards from Ebay). By some research...

                Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

I got this set for very cheap, it works perfectly but the catch is that the protective coating was damaged. About 45% of the screen had a green tint, you can see exactly where the layer changed colors to a blueish tone (that actually makes everything green).

"Ok, that's probably just the anti-glare layer" - I thought. So using a microfiber cloth and automotive metal polish I was easily able to turn it into a nice mirror.

Unfortunately, the damage was beyond this layer and everything still had a horrible green tint. I initially...
