I have a Sony TV that after a few minutes it makes a pop sound through the speakers and then completely switches off and then powers back on by itself, the green LED goes out and then back on again. Since I replaced all the caps on the inverter and power supply its shutdown intervals are longer. I haven't replaced the main filter cap but now I'm just lost on what to do? I've tried resetting but no luck. Anyone know what else to do?

Re: Sony KLV-37S400A Weird Issues
I would remove the power supply board and inspect the solder connections, especially the connections on the transformers and transistors etc. attached to the heat sinks. If it is a poor connection, you could try tapping the boards with something to see if you can cause the fault. Or try a heat source like a hair drier to see if that can cause the fault to show up. -

Re: Sony KLV-37S400A Weird Issues
Okay so I desoldered all the transformers and transistors and resoldered them all back(I also checked on the transformers if there are any broken connections and there are none, I put all the transistors in my component tester and they seem to test fine), now the TV stays on longer but still makes a clicking sound then a pop through the speakers and then offComment

by HarryZAloha. First post here, hope I can find someone to assist me.
I have a Sony XBR49X800G with streaming issues. The issue mostly occurs watching sporting events (basketball and football). The picture will sometimes get pixelated, sometimes freeze for a few seconds while the audio continues, sometimes it's jerky. In other words, you get a headache watching the TV.
My ISP provides 500 Mb service and I have verified that I have at least 500 Mb on ethernet, and something over 300Mb on WiFi. I installed Analiti on the TV (it's an Android TV) and I get ~ 70 Mb on both WiFi... -

by PontyPCsHi people.
I have been trying to get my head round these issues with the eMMC putting the TV in to a boot loop condition, or completely dead, when a dump of the Boot 1, Boot 2 and USERDATA partitions have been made, the MLC lifetime counter has been reset, using the original eMMC with the RPMB partition intact and the eMMC is flashed with the original dump, Netflix and a few other Apps don't work. i assume all the DHCP keys and factory programmed RPMB access Key will be contained within the original dump, and as we are re-flashing the original eMMC i would expect every thing to work.... -

by jb_BakHey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.
Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
CN6401
Pin 01 NC
Pin 02 NC
Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
Pin 04 "N/C"
Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
Pin 06 "GND": N/C
Pin 07 "AC_OFF"... - Loading...
