Generic TVs of any kind not just one is really favoring these horrible power supplies.
Every time I get one there is 80% chance of any damage when bad caps occurs especially with "FSP" on it.
Latest victim: Soyo 32" LCD had typical bad caps in power supply and for some reason this design of SMPS board is slightly different that it used "floating" ground to get 2 different voltages. 12V and one other voltage. Well, voltage rise so much that destroyed a MLCC ceramic capacitor (short), lucky to see the visible crack in the MLCC cap on the mainboard. Fixed now.
