Re: samsung ue55nu7021k backlights working but blank screen
Yes, it can be located under the menu Only in no case should you change the parameters in this service menu, if you don't know what for what, the changes can turn the TV into a brick (replacing the motherboard) if EMMc is alive, then the reset will go well if bad, then you can hang on the "SAMSUNG" screensaver, then how lucky you are.Leave a comment:

Well, there are no more options, at your own peril and risk, one way or another, the TV does not work properly.Leave a comment:

Sorry didn't mean to suggest you're not an expert, to me you are, just that I have no idea! It was a low end tv, but still £400 and expected to last longer than 2.5 years!Leave a comment:

Re: samsung ue55nu7021k backlights working but blank screen
If you reset via the "factory reset" service menu, you will get the TV as if it were from a store.

Re: samsung ue55nu7021k backlights working but blank screen
Hi, so just started the tv again and the no signal page is not showing properly. Photo of this attached as well as a photo from before when this page was showing properly. I've also attached a photo of the main settings menu which too isn't showing properly. I'll later to see if it displays correctly.
I'm guessing this doesn't help much?Leave a comment:

Re: samsung ue55nu7021k backlights working but blank screen
So I've just tried another software update which is what I assume is a firmware update. I choose as per the photo and then it does something but returns to the main "No Signal" screen again. Checking the software version it's still what it was before.
Also, some options don't seem to be available. Picture attached of some itmes greyed out!Leave a comment:

Sorry I got lost there but assume opening up the back and exposing the motherboard will provide clarity on whats faulty and needs to be replaced?Leave a comment:

Re: samsung ue55nu7021k backlights working but blank screen
I have opened it yet but let me give this a go tonight and I'll get a clear picture. I'm guessing the mainboard will be the large board at back and not the one where the power goes to?Leave a comment:

by dicky96Hi guys
I'm trying to fix this laptop screen
Basically the owner is a computer shop and they brought it to me with two screens. They said the repair shop they use could not fix it, so I thought i would try to see if I am better than their current repairer!
OK so I have the original screen which works but has lines across the bottom quarter of the screen
I have the replacement screen, which they fitted and it worked. They then put the laptop on one side for a couple of weeks until they found a buyer. When they showed it to the buyer, the screen would... -
by mrtekHi I am new to this kind of repairs but I want to learn..I have a Samsung UN65JS8500F. the TV used to work and I tried to fix darker areas in the middle only ( img 1,2,3). I thought the led strip were bad..not the case. I did not research in advance what kind and where the LED were located. In this model they are located vertically on right and left side. Took the TV apart and put it back together. Now the tv shows no welcome screen and no sound is available thru the speakers. ..just a black screen..Backlight LED do turn on...also noticed a 5 blink code , not sure if that was there before. I can...6 Photos

by BloopetaSamsung UE55JU6800K with no image on screen.
I have had this TV many years without fault, however aprox 6 months ago I fitted a new set of backlights as some of the lens caps had fallen off.
Was working fine, until 3 days ago, when watching TV the screen just went blank (still illuminated)
I turned the TV off and left it around 12 hours, and when turned it on again it seemed to work perfectly again. After around 45 mins the screen went blank again.
Left it off overnight and turned it on, and the Smart TV logo came on as normal, then screen went blank.

by madverkusHey guys
I got this TV from my friend and he said that one day he was trying to power it on it was just dead.
I did open the back of the TV and check the boards and cable connections and everything seems ok (no popped caps or anything visible).
I tried to turn it on few times and when I plug it in it flashes "Smart TV" logo and goes dark for about 20 seconds (no backlight yet) and after that the backlights are lit but no picture and didn't give any startup sound, sometimes it didn't start up but did show the standby led only and every time I pushed power... - Loading...
