    Capacitor instead of lamp?

    Hello.

I have a monitor which has a faulty lamp but I don't have a replacement for it.

I remember reading a technique on here that you can basically bypass the lamp and disconnect it totally and instead of the lamp you put a capacitor. Does anyone know what im talking about becouse I can't find the thread.
Or is there any other way I can disable a lamp and instead let the monitor work with just one?

    Thanks in advance.

suppose you could add a working lamp and use it or hide it
