Re: Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
Do you have pictures of both t-con boards? it is possible they could be for different models. You can't always go by the BNxx-xxxxxx number you need to use the number on the white sticker. I suspect there is an eeprom on the board and it bight be programmed for a different panel or main boardLeave a comment:

Replaced the tcon board. It's definitely better but not perfect, then again I'm comparing it to the picture on my iPhone. It's still a little saturated (maybe that's the word)Leave a comment:

Probably a gamma issue on the tcon. Think you're on the right track.Leave a comment:

Change the picture settings to vivid or standard. See if that makes any difference.Leave a comment:

Re: Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
It is unlikely to be the backlight, I would first check the source, possible bad hdmi cable? The next thing I would check (reseat) is the LVDS cable between the main board and t-con.Leave a comment:

Re: Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
Yes, it could be backlight. Did you you run it at 100%?
In the meantime you can change color temperature setting in user menu and tune white balance in service menu. Reduce backlight to minimum possible setting.
For best results run the test with fully white screen.
If white is good, you can play with tint setting for colors, but better set it in the middle.Leave a comment:

Samsung UN70NU6070 TV Issue - HELP!
Evening,
I started experiencing color/brightness issues with my 70” Samsung tv after a year or so from date of purchase. It doesn't seem as bright and the colors are a little off. Is this a backlight issue or something else? I'm pretty hands on, so I don't mind tackling the issue if I can pinpoint what it is.
Any help would be appreciated.

by vincentedelHello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.
I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...-

by ManucslHello.
My TV is a QE65Q800TATXXC Samsung TV.
Issue : When you plug the 220V, voltages are OK on the power board and you can hear the click from the relay, but TV is not starting when power button is pressed. Red led is blinking when you press power button. But no images or sound ( Back-light is off )
Then if you disconnect the cable from the main board to the power supply, the TV back-light turns on.
Any ideas to check would be very appreciated 😊

by FourRunnerI purchased a used Samsung TV model UA65JS9000W recently knowing it had an issue with the screen. When switched on the picture was bright both sides of the screen but a little darker in the middle of the screen. Thinking this was the back lights (side mounted LCD strips) I replaced these, however the issue is still there. I am now thinking it may be a TCOM issue, but am not sure, any advice on this would be appreciated. Also whilst changing out the back lights I noticed the the thick clear plastic sheet (maybe 1.5 to 2mm thick) below the diffusers there is cracking (up to 75mm) on the sides and...1 Photo

by ScHAmPiHi all,
Because of two bright spots and a couple of dark spots I decided to replace the backlights in my Samsung UE48JU7000. See attached photos:
I thought all went well, but after full assembly and testing it out it turns out not all is fine. The backlights are completely fine but I have some weird issues on the right half of the screen. Since I didn't really touch the T-CON board (apart from taking out the ribbons of the display and reconnecting them on assembly) it would be weird that the issue is with the T-CON board... But based on the behavior of the service...2 Photos - Loading...
