Hi,
I have a Panasonic TX-P42S20E plasma TV that lately has been showing flashing pink pixels when the picture is bright (similar to picture 5 in this post), primarily on the top half but to a lesser degree in the buttom half.
I've tried to change VSUS to high but it made the issue even worse so changed it back.
However, this is all a backstory as yesterday after being on for about 5 minutes the screen turned black. I've tried to hard reset (hold power on tv for 30 sec).
When turned on the green LED flashes 6 times and then stays on continously. My understanding of the service manual (link) is that it should flash X times and then pause for 3 sec before flashing again, or is the key point simply how many flashes initially? I have attached a slow motion video of the flashes
So I would appreciate help with the following:
Thank you!

So I would appreciate help with the following:
- Should the LED flashing be interpreted as 6 blinking times making the issue the "Driver SOS1", "SC Energy recovery circuit", "A-SC FPC DET"?
- If what can I do to more specifically identify what needs to be changed?
- Would that be related to the issue with pink flashing spots or can I expect that even if I fix the black screen I should expect to still have the other issue?
Thank you!
