Hi I have a 30v 10a supply.
This issue also presented itself with the original power supply.

What volt/amps is your power supply?.

I will post a couple photos.
When I connect via power supply I get a drop in amps exactly when the image goes, from 1.98 amps to 1.84 amps.

The Tcon is probably part of the panel strip.
Can you post photo's.
It doesn't sound too good. Check the state of where the panel ribbons join the panel and see if there has been any liquid spill in those area also how hot do the COF tabs become.Leave a comment:

Hi guys,
has anyone seen this problem before.?
Sony 40 inch tv turns on ,shows logo and normal picture for approx 10 secs then the image disintegrates into grey screen.
No input from remote.
This model has no TCON board.
Any ideas o this one pls.?

This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…
I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried... -

the charger brick has 19,2-19,3 vcc
changed the inverter board same result.
where should i start?

I have a strange fault on a Sony amplifier. The volume control varies the display from MIN, then 1 up to 30 and then MAX as expected. At MIN there is no sound. However, at 1 it is quite loud and increasing above 1 does not change the sound level.
I have tried a Cold Reset as per the service manual.
I have looked at the I2C clock and data to volume control chip IC501 (BD3499FV). Data is only sent to IC501 when the volume is set to MIN or 1. At any other setting no data is sent to IC501.
I have looked all the way through the service manual and tried many online... -
Hello,
i have this sony bravia kdl-43w755c which boot loops. After sony logo, it shows the android animation loading then it restarts…
from what i read online it looks to be an emmc issue…
i’m not familiar with this kind of tv repairs… i’m repairing laptops and gpu’s…
i took out the board and say an samsung 16gb emmc
i don’t have an exact replacement, but i have a few 32 and 64gb emms’s from laptops…
i could try to put one instead of the 16gb one, but will it work?
where do i get the software from?
