    I'm thinking that if you buy a new samsung in Germany, since they must give a 3 year warranty then you will never have to buy another tv, becuz they just won't last that long, they would be replacing them under warranty, that's IF it don't burn the house down first.

      3 years warrant on Parts & Labor?
      If not they can charge you big labor that can be more than what the product is worth.
      I doubt that they will stock new replacement LCD panel for 3 years.

        they are not so stupid... no TV over here burn as this threat.. they know what they sell and where.. here if its get defect after 2years they pay back your money.. so think if you buy one for near to 1000 Euro.. how much can this 1000 investment bring at their Banks handling over this 2 years.. !!!

              I hear ya Diah, hate hate the effing ads, all the brand ads and even the over the air tv ads seem like they are a million times more irritating than they were even 5 years ago, if I have to see ice t yakking on and on about carshied insurance one more time, maybe I'll just put a brick thru the damn thing.
