Re: SONY KDL 43w805c does not accept commands
Yeah, but the point is it stuck on the welcome screen. So, i cannot use any APK to control it via the network until the tv is not connected to the network. And my problem is not that this volume graphic is missing... The problem is that it does not accept command neither from the remote control nor from the side control panel.
Just tried with the mouse now and nothing - i can see the mouse coursor and move it for 2-3 sec and then it is freezing for few sec and so on.... Is there how to reflash the TV with USB stick even it is with the latest firmware already?

Re: SONY KDL 43w805c does not accept commands
take the batteries out from your RC in case the RC keep sending IR signal.. then use the side control panel .. you can try android APK too if you have android mobile with IR sender such galaxy S5. i think sony they have apk too to control the set via net work too.Leave a comment:

Re: SONY KDL 43w805c does not accept commands
its much firmware issue, as its android 5. there are update for years 2019 to this set- you need to try
1- hard reset from power & volume - then plug it in wall socket..
2- to by pass the first installation and to to apply update use air mouse with the tv. or any USB 2 mouse.Leave a comment:

If you disconnect the wifi connector does that help. I think it's connected to the IR sensor module.?

SONY KDL 43w805c does not accept commands
Hi, guys. This TV stopped to accept commands and it does not matter if i am using my remote control or the buttons on the TV. It is accepting it sometimes but only once or something and then it is stopping again. Only the volume command is working even i cannot see the graphic scale every time. But the volume is working - i can adjust the volume without problems. I reset the TV few times but it is the same. Now it stuck on the Welcome Screen and i cannot move forrward. Do you think that the Main Board could be a problem?

by crackedprintI have a strange fault on a Sony amplifier. The volume control varies the display from MIN, then 1 up to 30 and then MAX as expected. At MIN there is no sound. However, at 1 it is quite loud and increasing above 1 does not change the sound level.
I have tried a Cold Reset as per the service manual.
I have looked at the I2C clock and data to volume control chip IC501 (BD3499FV). Data is only sent to IC501 when the volume is set to MIN or 1. At any other setting no data is sent to IC501.
I have looked all the way through the service manual and tried many online...-

by karthurOn this Vizio D65x, the volume will change on its own. I don't mean like during commercials where the volume will increase. I mean its like the (+) volume button on the remote is pressed and the actual volume dialog is displayed on the screen going up. It will do this, then the volume may start going down. It might go all the way to "0"or it might stop at a different number, then start going back up. The whole time its doing this, the volume dialog is shown on the screen.
It wont do it until it has been "ON" for 20 or 30 minutes, so it does seem to be heat related.... -

by RuptorHas anybody had the problem of the digital clicking from the volume control coming through the speakers. I guess the mute should activate as everything seems to have a mute from the analogue switch LC7822 to prevent output of stuff on the speakers but the mute circuits are really complex. The pcb is very badly manufactured as if it is over etched and not cleaned properly before being screen printed because I have fixed one fault but a wide track lifted off real easy with very little heat requiring extra repair. I dread touching the board so would like to go straight to the problem if someone has...

by jason123New to Audio equipment. Received this 7.2 Surround Sound system - had a blown channel and fixed that (0.22 ohm resistor, 2 transistors, and 1 100 ohm replaced)
All channels now work. However, when I raise the volume with knob or remote, it doesn't work smoothly - you can heard distortion, and some speakers don't seem to work at max or somewhere in between..
First thought was the actual audio switch - but then Remote volume control shouldn't have this problem, but it does.
Second thought was the ribbon cable from front display to control board (V-Flex,...-
