LG 47LE8500 - Stuck Logo - Solution

All,

If you have this TV and stuck at the Logo, it might be due to firmware. You can download the firmware from LG and put that in a USB (formatted as FAT32) under directory LG_DTV.

1. Switch off the TV
2. put the usb with the bin file in the usb port
3. remove all other wires - IMPORTANT
4. switch on the TV. ( it took couple of times before it loaded the firmware and TV started working).

By other wires, do you mean HDMI and rca wires?

Only USB and power cord should be connected. All other cables like HDMI, RCA, Antenna, etc should be disconnected.
