Samsung LN46C530F1FXZA Dead Set No Standby

Hello. I have a Samsung set that a customer says went out during a power outage or surge. From a visual inspection I see a burn mark on one of the transformers (pics included). Also, when I replace the pictured fuse (the one by the power plug connector) it blows immediately when I plug in the set. Could the transformer be the issue why the fuse immediately blows or could it be something else. I'd greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

That T3 fuse is used for feeding B+ to the inverter circuit and the standby power supply circuit.

You need to test MOSFET's QI802, QI808, and SMPS IC ICM801(you need to get the P/N of this IC to be able to look up the spec sheet for the pin out of the IC) for low resistance readings between Source and Drain pins.

BTW, the main filter cap CP802 looks like it has domed top, is that correct?

    Power supply/inverter board P/N BN44-00418A.

Hi thanks. The fuse that keeps blowing is the t6.3ah 250v not the t3. Just was clarifying that in case that's why you want me to test those mosfets and ic. And yeah you're right that filter cap is bulged. For some reason I couldn't see that until I looked at the picture. Do I still need to test those mosfets and ic?

I mean T3.15A rated fuse (FS802S designator) as shown in your picture, I just did not write down the whole thing.
Yes, you do need to test all those parts I mention, and both filter caps need to be replaced.
You may want to look if it will be cheaper to buy the board.

Greetings to all, a while ago my TV was dead, it didn't turn on and the standby light was off, the next day it is working. But these days it no longer wants to turn on, I did some troubleshooting, I disconnected the main board, I checked the voltage on the backlight and there is 400 DC, when I connect it again the main board the voltage drops, in all that troubleshooting, miraculously the standby light comes on and the TV works. After an hour I check and test, I turn on the TV, the Stanby light flashes 3 times and it...

Samsung UE46ES8000 Blown fuse but no other signs of short
          by jesterace
Hi I wonder if anyone might be able to steer me in the right direction. I have this Samsung UE46ES8000 TV and it went bang during use. The main fuse on the PSU board is open. I've checked every diode/mosfet/transistor I can see and nothing appears to be short to cause the fuse to go. The DC output of the bridge rectifier is not short either. I've seen online that some of these models are known for having their PFC mosfet or other mosfets shorting and blowing the fuse but i'm not seeing that here. If anyone aware of these models having any issues to cause this? I'm reluctant to just replace the...

LED TV Samsung The Frame 55 inch QE55LS03RAU Standby Light only
          by ChristianBr01
          Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power...
