    Samsung UE40D8000YS Strange Issue

    Hello

    Ive got this tv and its showing me some strange issue!
    When connecting the tv to AC there is no standby led also no voltage present on powersupply, Fuses they check out good.
    When i disconnect the cable to the mainboard the backlight goes on and there are voltages present on the powersupply.
    Also the fuse on the mainboard check out oke.
    When i follow the flowchart frist component to check out is IC203 but i cant find any datasheet on it.
    Also when powerboard is connected and i check the voltages on those parts there are zero.
    So something is drawing the powerboard down?

      Page 4.4, only after tests the power supply work are tests on the mainboard done.

          When connecting ac the relay does not click.
          Of i remove CN201 the relay clicks and BL goes on

              5V on pin 4 of CN201 ?

                  Tested the board without an 1K present, and the Mainboard not connected.

                  PIN 1 = B5V Present
                  PIN 4 = A5V Present
                  PIN 7 = B18VS Present
                  PIN 11 = B13V Present

                  Also IC203 measure 1,5ohm between to legs, So i think this one is defective,
                  Only probleem i need to have the datasheet so i can check what the function is and wat the pinout is

                      Hello,

                      I have a Samsung DM32D display.
                      When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

                      Here’s what I have tried so far:
                      1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
                      2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
                      3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

                      From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

                      Samsung Series 9 - BIOS issue

                      After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

                      Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

                      Hi,

                      I have 3 of these TVs for repair with same problem of going to standby after around 10minutes and start again continuously. I have tried a new SPI 25Q40 but fault remains. Am suspecting a CPU problem as it gets a bit hotter than I expect.
                      This seems to be a common problem in these models. I am 100% sure it is a mainboard issue as I have fitted a spare from a normal TV from a UE40K5607 and stays on (diplay inverted but I managed to rotate in SM using a different display).


                      Any help appreciated!...

                      I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

                      I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...
