I have a Samsung UN46EH5300FXZA that is cycling on and off when powered on. When i unplug the mainboard from the power board and plug the power back in the backlights stay on for a longer period of time. I also check the connector between the powerboard and backlights and there is no sign of issues with arcing.

When you do that test the backlights should stay on as long as the board has power so you are saying that they stay on longer but still shut off??Quit because THIS SITE LETS A ROGUE MEMBER TYPE ANY GARBAGE HE PLEASES AND THE POWERS THAT BE NEVER DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SO HE NEVER QUITS. THEN YOU GET A PENALTY FOR RESPONDING TO HIS ATTACKS. BEEN GOING ON FOR WAY TOO LONG. DONE SUPPORTING A SITE THAT ALLOWS THIS BS. -

They were not shutting off at all actually. They stayed on until i unplugged the tv from power. With the mainboard plugged into power it would turn on, show the input, and then shut off and then repeat itself.Comment

I figured out it was the motherboard that was causing the issues. I could even use the menu functions when the tv would power on for the couple seconds that it would. Thanks for the input.Comment

Hello everybody, I could use some help on this one... It's got me guessing...
I took pictures of all the boards and the pin out of the connector on the power supply that goes to the main board... I measured all the pins in relation to chassis ground, here are the result.
(B13v)1. 12.7 volts cycling (Vamp) 2. 12.7 volts cycling
(B13v)3. 12.7 volts cycling (PWM5) 4. 1.0 volts cycling
(OD_LE)5. 2.8 volts cycling (PWM4) 6. 0.9 volts cycling
(OD_ON)7. 2.8 volts cycling (PWM3) 8. 0.9 volts cycling
9. ground (PWM2) 10. 0.9 volts cycling... -
Hello, I have a problem with my Samsung UE48H6410SSXZG with the main board BN41-02156A and the power board BN44-00709A. Everything seemed like this, the TV could no longer be switched on, the standby LED always flashed 5x2 times. Backlight was off and no sound from TV. Also made the flashlight test and there was no picture.
I made the following tests:
1. Disconnected the main board from Power Board = backlight works.
2. Connected the main board and disconnected the T-Con = backlights does not work.
So I ordered a main board from Ebay also BN41-02156A but from... -
