This is not a request for help but a possible remedy for stuck Sharp TVs.
Model Number: LC-60LE660U
Symptom: Doesn't start, Front LED turns white, backlight is on, but no picture.
Sharp logo will appear depending on adjustment in the menu.
I followed the instructions in this link and , oh wonder!, it worked!:

This is probably the same issue for other Sharp TVs, so you might give it a try.
The trick might be to rename the downloaded file to "install.img" , something I hadn't tried before.
I was cursing at the manufacturer for not providing an easy means to repair this issue, like the eeprom data or similar but as it turns out, all is good with flashing the firmware. I would never have shelled out 200 or 300 bucks for a replacement board.
