Video Converter from Composite to Vga V2V Pro2 not working

Hi everyone I have a problem with this converter, I have no video output on the vga, I have already changed the small chip highlighted on the photo because it heated a lot and I thought it was that, now it does not heat anymore but equally I have no signal, I noticed that the two diodes right on the vga connector are shorted could they be those?

Which pins of the vga connector do the diodes connect? they could be tvs or zener diodes used for protection.

the diodes are ss14 schottky

I have an update, the diodes removed from the circuit are good, on the circuit they give me the short

Piece of advice: each time you see a square IC in a brown socket like in your second picture (top left) put the card on a table and firmly press down on the IC (you will hear a snap), or remove the IC and reseat it. Time and heat make these type of IC’s in sockets like that wiggle out. I’ve fixed a lot of no POST issues on older computers, just by pressing down on that IC. I am not saying it is the cure for all, but that is the first thing I would do.

I tried to hit that chip but nothing works, it's hard to pull out and I wouldn't want to do any damage

stick a small screwdriver in the corners of the holder and lift the IC a little, then press it very firmly all the way back in the socket.
