Hi,
This is a smart tv:
Make: Digihome
Model: 50292UHDDLEDCNTD
Power supply: Vestel 17IPS72
Main board: Vestel 17MB130P
Chassis: VES500QNDC-2D-N11
The problem is this, when I plug the tv in:
- standby light start flashing/blinking regularly
- the backlight comes on
- no picture, logo, pixel will come on the screen, pure black with backlight
- the standby light will flash 27 times and the tv will restart
No obvious bad capacitors. No shorted diodes. Checked all transistors in secondary and nothing seem shorted. All checks done in circuit, without removing the components.
I have disconnected the backlight, no change.
I have disconnected the main board from the power supply and checked some voltages but without knowing how much to expect on each rail, it's hard to know if the power supply is running well.
There is a rail with 1.6V, few rails 11.6V and another one 23.2V.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated, I'm a hobbyist, not a pro.
Thank you

by rjuA sports bar/restaurant with ~40 Samsung Plasma TVs. This is the 2nd TV that has a blinking standby LED. I'd like to learn how to repair these TVs because I'd guess that over time more and more of them will develop this symptom. My hope is to repair the bad PCB, however if that's not realistic then I'd replace the bad PCB.

Upon applying power, the red standby is steady. When I tap the power button, the standby LED immediately blinks twice, then it blinks once ~ every 4 secs. Also, Upon applying power, the... -
by mecha1166I am working on a QN750Q8FNBFXZA. Dead except the standby light. It blinks what appears to be 1 3 1 2. 1 long blink, pause, 3 short, pause, 1 long, pause, 2 short, pause, repeat. A service manual would be very helpful, or if anyone knows these error codes. Thanks!

by androriparaHello everyone,
i am trying to repair a Sony KDL-55HX820 led TV which is throwing error code 4 (standby led flashing four times).
I followed the troubleshooting flowchart at page 69, and between pin1 and pin7 of CN6002 i am reading 1.91V so i guess i can rule out the B Board as the culprit.
Before ordering new G* Boards (by the way, should i change both? it is not specified in the manual) i wanted to try and do more advanced troubleshooting since i've read in other threads people resolving their problems on the 46/55 HX 820/823/825 models by replacing the Samsung led... -
This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.
Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today.... - Loading...
