I have an LG 50PN4500-UA turns off and on randomly with 2 flashes before turning on

showing power does nothing randomly turns on with 2 flashes: https://youtu.be/ZHME8GthErc

Hello all I have an issue with my tv. I have had it for about 5-6 months because when I moved apartments the previous owner left the tv. and I got it for free it is a plasma tv and looks nice enough. an issue that started to happen was that it would kick off randomly but I could still turn it on well about a month or so I assumed the power button went out so I got a universal remote and programmed all lg codes and nothing just the solid red standby light so fast forward to a week ago and i got curious so I opened the TV up after find this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7UChm5b_rw same issue press power button still in stand by. sadly I dont speak this person's language andddd the auto generate CC is a bit hit or miss so I knew where to solid the transistor.

I got a similar spec'd transitor as finding those transistors are difficult as they are disconnected, so I looked at a datasheet, found some info but went to an electronic discord to make sure everything was correct and what I should look out for, they told me as long as it drives with 4 volts on it would be good. I found a transistor that was 4 volts power on. and confirmed with the discord people that the transistor would be suitable for my needs. so I got it today and went to work well my soldering skill sort of suck right now so I couldn't get it on well, but enough to test so I pressed the power again no luck well I decided to just remove the leads and see if it powers on by some luck and to my surprise it did, but something was off... there was a logic control board that flashed 2 times in sync with the stand by indicator but it turned on none the less.

i was happy it turned on then it randomly turned off as I was texting a friend that it works but I am not sure why. then you see in my video pressing the power does nothing after five minutes it randomly turns on I dont think using the av cables help it was just sort of dumb luck now it turns on for maybe 10 mintues turns off for about 5 then back repeat repeat repeat.

Insignia NS-LCD019-09 issue: Power light turns blue for 3 seconds, the flashes red before going solid read again
    by cajoeg
Hello, I'm new to the group and to trying to repair a LCD TV. During the past few years, I've been collecting/repairing/restoring vintage personal computers (Commodore, Apple II, Atari, TRS-80, Texas Instruments, and Timex Sinclair). This has been my retirement hobby. Now I've gotten interested in trying to repair a LCD TV that I have and used regularly when working on vintage computers.

The LCD I'm working on is a Insignia NS-LCD019. I've downloaded the service manual that I could find, but it must be a different revision since not too many items in the service manual match the TV...

HP Notebook - 15-ba017ax (LA-D711P Motherboard) turns off randomly after some time
    by nieljosiah
I've had this laptop for 8-9 years, and about a week back, it started malfunctioning. When I press the power button, the power LED comes on for about 5secs and turns off. The fan also doesn't spin at all during this time. But, if I press the power button, and then manually spin the fan, the laptop boots up and the fan starts spinning on its own. Even if I do this, and the laptop boots up, it turns off (hard shutdown) after some time between 10secs and 1hour randomly. I've tried checking the fan voltage and it's at zero volts when I press the power button without spinning it, but when I spin the...

LG 32LG3000 TV, three red light flashes, then the backlight turns on, but no picture
    by ItepK
Hello everyone! I've found this television, and I began troubleshooting it.

First, the television kept rapidly power cycling. I've warmed up the capacitors with a hairdryer, and after 3 dimmed red blinks, the backlight turned on, then turned dim, and no picture was present on the screen.

I believed that this was caused by a bad power supply producing insufficent power (I've measured 3.5v on the 5.2v rail), so I've blindly recapped the board.

After the recapping, all the voltages stableized, however, the issue in the title still remains.

    I could...

PS3 Slim Turns OFF Immediately After Turning ON
    by Stanley1843
Hi, my PS3 Slim (CECH-3003A) when I connected to 230V the PS3 the indicator of the switch is red and after pressing it the is green (fan spins) for only 10 seconds and then completely off. Some times also is completely off when I connected to 230V.
On the CN101 connector at the 5VSB pin I measure 0V.
Without the CN101 connector pluged in the PS3 board (on the fly) I am measuring 5V on the 5VSB on the power supply side.
On the 5VSB in respect to ground I am measuring 6 Ohm resistance. There is any schematic to find which ICs supplied from 5VSB or any suggestions where l have to...

MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Turns on functions then turns off when I plug in USB C cable
    by Stephen
MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Turns on functions then turns off when I plug in USB C cable to reset the computer. I disconnect the battery fully and then reconnect it and it won't turn back on. After letting it sit for a day I plug the battery back up, and the MagSafe 3 cable and it powers on and stays ons, once I plug in a USB C cable into the port closes to the MagSafe port it turns off and the Amber light turns off and won't turn on. No water damage, nothing, I want to do a DFU restore to wipe the computer since the customer stated they did an update and ever since it just decided to not work...
