VIZio E371VL RF causing power cycle

    Hi all,
This is my first post. I have been working on repairing a 37” VIZio tv. Initially, the tv would not power on, no standby light either so I had to replace the power board.i was able to get it working except it wouldn't turn on, I replaced the eeprom and was able to get it to work. The problem now is that the image freezes and the tv turns off then it turns back on only to do the same a couple times and eventually stay off. This only happens when the indoor antena is plugged in. I was able to watch an entire movie when I used the hdmi port. I also noticed that the RF port gets really hot even when the antenna is not plugged in. Also, the RF is warm even when the tv is off (only plugged into the wall) so I'm guessing there is a short somewhere affecting the RF port. Anyone ever come across something like this? What would I look for to solve this issue? Thanks in advance

Vizio TV M50-C1 reboot cycle and static on screen
    by spice_disc
I'm currently trying to diagnose and fix my Vizio TV (Model M50-C1). I've tried a number of different basic solutions, but I'm trying to determine if my issue is currently a failing panel, T-Con board, or main board (or something else entirely) and whether or not it is worth my time to fix it. Details of the issue and what I've tried are below as well as why I think it is either a bad panel, T-Con board, or main board.

The Issue: The TV will be on and working fine but after the TV is on for ~5-10 minutes the screen will freeze (with sound continuing) until the TV reboots itself. While...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

Vizio E371VL Powers on, no backlight or picture, will not power off
    by afex
hello, I have a Vizio E371VL - the orange Vizio logo lights up while not powered on, changes to bright white when power button pressed but there is no picture.

There is no backlight, and I've done the flashlight test and cannot see any picture. The TV also will not power off using the button or the remote - I have to unplug the power cable to shut it down. The white light never fades out until unplugged. Its almost like its stuck in the powering up phase or something.

I bought a replacement mainboard and replacement power board. Neither have fixed the issue. It still...

    Vizio M65-C1
    by mrtek
    Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...

Razor Blade Steath 13" RZ09-01963 plugged in Not Charging (new battery)
    by Shinju
    Hey All!

Long time forum member here with a problematic laptop issue!

I got a RZ09-0196 with a bloated battery (still worked and charged fine) I pulled the old cell pack out and installed a new cell pack in its place.

The laptop would not power on with the new battery installed without the power supply being plugged in.

When booting into Win10 (all up to date BTW) I saw the battery icon with 49% plugged in not charging.

TL;Dr version, old battery worked, charged but was bloated, installed a new non OEM replacement, laptop/windows...
