yes, and also its 100% the power supply now, because it worked perfect by itself and got 391v at the caps.. I unplugged it, plugged it back in and immediately started clicking..

For that relay (5VDC Coil), it is either 5V is not steady or the PS-ON signal is not steady, the PS-ON is used to turn on that relay.
So when you get 391V on the caps, do the backlights come on? If not, you have multiple problems. One thing to do is to check all the solder joints of the transformer legs, the legs of all power devices that are attached to the heatsink. Also try heating up the board with hair dryer first and apply the power to see if will come on every time.

yes they come on, the TV still works fine when it sits for 3-6+ hours.. Ill resolder the big stuff and start there..

OK I flowed fresh leaded solder on pretty much all the through hole stuff, no luck.. I changed a couple caps that I had laying around and no change. I did get a high ESR from the 450v 22uf cap of 7 ohms 2 times in a row then it changed to 2.9ohm..

Well the shop jimmy kit didnt fix it so I bought the replacement board mentioned above, and they shipped it with a 22 pin instead of a 24 pin on ONE side.. my god i cant win!!!

Ok, all you have to do is swap the 22 pin LED connector from the original board onto the new one until they fix their boards if you do buy it. CHEAPEST way and super fast shipping, took 5 days from order to receive it, came with RUBYCON caps.. was shocked..

yep, fixed it and have a ton of parts if this one blows up too... their customer service does not bode well since they messed up the board they sent me, she told me to cut the connector rofl.. I told her that I swapped the connectors and worked perfectly..

without that link id still be out a tv and more of my life wasted trying to fix it..
