Re: Telefunken TE32182B29C10
If it "stinks" when you apply power something is shorted and getting hot. I do not know how you can find it with only an ohm meter.

I don't want to feed, because it stinks from the motherboard.

Re: Telefunken TE32182B29C10
the zener diode D2 looks good. mounted measure 0.500 mV (multimeter)
What can I do?Leave a comment:

Re: Telefunken TE32182B29C10
There is a 5.6volt zener diode (D2) close to L27, If you are lucky the zener diode is shorted to ground and protected the 5 volt standby line
See if this schematic is close, (page58)Attached FilesLast edited by R_J; 04-14-2019, 11:55 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: Telefunken TE32182B29C10
Unfortunately I can't verify this.
Why.
Since I found the short circuit between 12V and + 5_STBY, by mistake.
Now if with the two cards connected and food.
I smell stinks from the main. 17MB82-2.
What can I check here?Leave a comment:

Re: Telefunken TE32182B29C10
There is nothing connected to +5v_stby, so shorting 12 volts to that pin will have no effect on the power supply.
Does the voltage on ST_BY change when you press the power button?
On the main board 12V_STBY gets regulated to +5V_STBY with U46, BUT it is very likely +5V_STBY is connected to CN30 pin11, so when you applied +12volts to the +5VSTBY anything on the main board connected to that line may be damaged, I would start by checking Q225, it switches 5V_STBY to 5V_VCC, so anything that uses 5v_vcc could have been damaged, also Q1,Q3 and U49 (3V3_VCC)
there is a schematic of the main availableLast edited by R_J; 04-14-2019, 11:40 AM.Leave a comment:

Thanks for the reply,
the Q106 is not mounted.
So I broke something in the main?Leave a comment:

Re: Telefunken TE32182B29C10
This power supply uses 12 volts for the standby, the lower voltages (+5v)are developed on the main board
24 volts is usually switched by q106 (if mounted) it is controlled by ST_BY from the main board.
Jumping +5V_STBY to +12VCC, likley did no harm to the power supply but may have damaged something on the main board, check where the +5V_STBY line connects on the main and check any components
Did the whole tv turn off or did you just loose the backlight and still have sound?
Your original problem is could becaused by a bad led in the panel.Last edited by R_J; 04-14-2019, 11:18 AM.Leave a comment:

Telefunken TE32182B29C10
Hi everyone, I have this TV that turns off after a while that is on.
I changed the diode D107, and I was trying.
Unfortunately while I was measuring the voltages I jumpered + 5_Standby with 12Vcc (for distraction). and obviously everything went out.
Everything was mounted, power board 17IPS11-R4 and the 17MB82-2.
I tried the 17IPS11 power card alone, but there are no 5.2V stand-by voltages, the 2.4V ST_By.
The 12V and 24V are there.
In the card the following components are not mounted which should have given me 5.2V:
R103, R174, D113, Q104, C127 and C136.
Does this mean that the standby supplies me the motherboard?
Thank you
PS. do you have the main 17MB82-2 card?Attached FilesTags: None

by cheeky2I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection... -
by Dani_2024Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO
Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...5 Photos -
by ygorsanHi everyone,
Iām looking for help with a persistent issue on an LG TV model 55NANO77SRA, which uses the main board EBU66792103 (also used in LG UQ80 and NANO75/NANO80 series).
š§© Problem Summary:- The TV keeps scrolling through the menu or selecting items by itself.
- I removed the physical button board (the entire panel with power and volume buttons) and also disconnected the flat cable (CN202) from the main board.
- The remote control is not in use (batteries removed), and the TV still shows the same behavior.

by Asraf AtbHi everyone,
Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.
Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.
I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....1 Photo -
by JSin21Hoping someone here could possibly help. I have a few questions in regards to compatibility with main boards. But I'll give a quick short run down on what's going on first;
I have Samsung Smart TV UA65MU6100WXXY version DA01
Now years ago it started intermittently playing up after a lighting strike. Lighting hit the block of units i was living in at the time. Ever since that night the TV started having a mind of its own, It would randomly turn itself off or on, and all inputs stopped responding like HDMI, aerial, but USB still worked. Anyway, over the next few months...4 Photos - Loading...
