Technika 40" LED TV standby led 7 times flashing

    Hi Guys,

I have a 40" Technika LED TV (Tesco brand) using the 17IPS20 -R6 PSU. Few days ago the problem started with the TV, no picture, but sound still it had. (I haven't seen this condition my wife told me) so I am not sure the backlight went off, or there was no video as well that time). She tried to power off and on, but after sound also disappeared. The current condition , after connecting the plug to the main, the red standby led flashing 7 times and after going to be off. It didn't try to switch on the backlight, also no electrical sounds coming form any transformers/coils. I was checking all the diodes, and transistors, I couldn't find any shorted or broken one. Any advice with this would be highly appreciated. In the above described condition, should the board supply any voltage for the LED strips ? Is there any sense to check the voltage in the connector of the backlight ? Or what is the easiest way to identify, the problem with the board or with the backlight itself ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Br,
    /bolob

Samsung UE75TU7020k No picture, Standby blinks 2 times
    by brithepi2k
My Samsung UE75TU7020k lights up fine when one of the ribbon cables are disconnected from the main board, lights stay on but not getting half a picture, I do the same with the other ribbon and put the other one in and lights stay on but not getting half a picture. The standby light flashes 2 times then reboots then it then tries to come back on again and just keeps looping until I take either one of the ribbon tables out (doesn’t matter which one I take out it stays lit when either one is out). I’ve tested the backlights but all working with none shorting out, I’ve replaced the main board...

    by Willem01
    Hi all,

Error – TV not powering on - with standby red –led flashing
    Model- LEDTV – 39T3500
    Power boarD - shg3206a-101h

I have read through the Basic LCD TV and Monitor troubleshooting guides.
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthr...956#post305956, I am no ELEC engineer but can use a multi meter and soldering iron

In the meantime I could not see any damage to any caps on the cold side of the power board, so I have replaced all of them.

Unplugged the power connector on the board, I plugged the power cable in waited...

Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED
    by STKR123
As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

HP Elitebook 845 G8 dead, only caps lock flashing 7 times. Charging light always on
    by esqmooo
    Hello everyone.

This is my development machine. I've been using it since two years and half without any problem except sometimes it wouldn't wake up from sleep.
Lately the issue became more frequent and powering it up would take few seconds to show the POST screen.
Then the computer refuses to power on at all. Now only the caps lock button flashes 7 times then stops. The charging light is always on whenever a power source is connected (battery or charger).
I tried long pressing on the power button, after several seconds it would go off then when the button is released...

Sony HCD BX7700dbi CMT flashing standby
    by rabbituk
I have got a Sony HCD-BX7700dbi that isn't worth a lot but I'm keen to learn how to repair and would appreciate some help with my train of thought. The protection circuit is kicking in and the standby light is blinking. It goes into protection mode within a second of powering it on.

So far the relay on the power board that enables the main transformer clicks on and then off when powering on the unit. Looking at the schematics, the permanently enabled power rail called 'unreg sub' provides about 13.5VDC. Where the power comes into the main board on connector CN303, there is a diode...
