Not many hits on this model here on this forum, so I thought I'd add one. Found this TV in the trash. Fired it up and it appeared to work fine. Tried it again the next day and nothing - just the white power-on led on the front turned on. Pulled all the caps on the power board and checked them with my Fluke 26III meter - all checked good. Then I noticed the solder connection on the drain of Q1702 FET (TK5A50D) looked flaky (it was the only one of three leads that had the eyelet mount thru the board.) I probed it while power applied and the set came to life. Re-soldered all the eyelet connections on the board and it has been working fine for several days.
There was also a firmware update that I applied - the readme file said it addressed a "set will not turn on intermittently" issue although I think the bad solder connection was the real culprit.
