Sharp Aquos 47” LCD.

Hi, I have a ten year old version of the above tv which has about 100 horizontal lines across the screen only noticeable with dark colours. Any ideas on if this is fixable or terminal. I'll try and upload a picture which if you zoom in you should see the problem.
