LG Plasma no picture.

Can anyone help.
LG tv model no:-PDP50T30010.
When turned on gives a clicking sound - no picture.If wired cable between x and y board removed clicking stops and gives picture reduced in size. Hoping for an answer ,thank you.

The clicks from the PSU could be a good indication that the PSU is OK. If you remove the X and Y cables and the clicking stops another good sign PSU may be OK but I can't understand 'and gives picture reduced in size. Hoping for an answer ,thank you.'
