Proscan elite EP 5585 Turn On but led driver no voltage ..

Hi! all and Budm
Led TV Proscan elite EP 5585 is problem... Tv turn on green light is stable
tv screen flash then black
checked led driver both way connected and disconnect to led string when first tv turn on 124 volts at led driver channel, then voltage drop to 0 volt 100% problem with power supply produce led voltage

Because I already checked led backlight with led tester backlight bright and voltage show on tester 94 volt 100% no problem with led backlight

I just all professional help me what component cause Tv turn on i have 124Volt but drop to 0

You could have a bad led in one of the led strings, If one led is shorted the string will light with the tester but the tv's power supply monitors the current and if it is over a set limit it will shut down.

led voltage drop from 124 v to 0v even disconnected to led power supply

problem is from power supply led driver

I tested 2 led string is 94V each , the same voltage both and the backlight is bright

I also have the exact same TV, and a similar issue, where the backlight comes on when I turn on the TV and everything is fine, but it goes off after 15min or so on any input or picture setting, and I have confirmed it is a backlight issue with the flashlight test, and I do read similar voltage values

while Im very new to all of this, my question is, is my issue the same board too?

and if it is, is there any way I can identify and repair the faulty part of this mainboard/power supply combo without having to purchase a new one

What happen if you turn down the Backlights level (not Brightness) down to as low as possible, will the backlights stay on longer than 15 minutes?

RCAs don't have the ability to turn down the backlight in the picture menu. Some have a power savings picture mode with a reduced backlight level.

To turn down the backlight, with TV on, try source-2-5-8-0 or menu-1-1-4-7 Look under Panel Settings or Other Settings. Be very careful in the service menu since you can brick your tv. Set it to around 50 to 60. You may need to do this on all inputs.
