    Samsung 40 inch lcd

    Hello, forum, I picked up a non-working tv, It had no power at all, not even a standby light.
    On inspection noticed 3 caps had blown 1000uf 10v/25v on the main board,i changed these along with one of the same value, as though three was out no doubt would be the same with the remaining one.
    WIN it works and not bad for an older set, strange no on or off button on the tv itself not even on the back.
    The issue I have or is it an issue when you switch on with the remote, it blinks four times then the tv comes on, is this normal?

      as long as it works, turns on and stays on, I wouldn't worry about it.

          Some of the Samsung LCD's have soft buttons on the bottom front that are not very obvious. Blinking is a sign that it is booting up. You could look up the user manual searching the model number.

              After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

              Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

              Hello,
              I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

              I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...

              Hi Respected forum members,
              I have trying to resolve a Samsung TV MODEL-UA40K5000ARLXL multiple issue since last 1.5 months, but now i am stuck having tried almost everything as per my limited knowledge, and hence I seek you support.


              Issue : The TV turned off automatically one day.
              No Backlight ,No image on screen(flashlight test done),no standby
              Samsung repair technician could not find the fault and asked to replace the PSU board, which my ego did not agree with
              The Board is L40MSFN-FHS BN44-00851B.
              I have searched the whole internet...

              Hello.

              My TV is a QE65Q800TATXXC Samsung TV.

              Issue : When you plug the 220V, voltages are OK on the power board and you can hear the click from the relay, but TV is not starting when power button is pressed. Red led is blinking when you press power button. But no images or sound ( Back-light is off )
              Then if you disconnect the cable from the main board to the power supply, the TV back-light turns on.
              Any ideas to check would be very appreciated 😊

              After reading some posts on this forum, I suspect an eeprom issue so I bought a CH341A to dump...

              I purchased a used Samsung TV model UA65JS9000W recently knowing it had an issue with the screen. When switched on the picture was bright both sides of the screen but a little darker in the middle of the screen. Thinking this was the back lights (side mounted LCD strips) I replaced these, however the issue is still there. I am now thinking it may be a TCOM issue, but am not sure, any advice on this would be appreciated. Also whilst changing out the back lights I noticed the the thick clear plastic sheet (maybe 1.5 to 2mm thick) below the diffusers there is cracking (up to 75mm) on the sides and...
