    Vizio M3D550KDE

Everything works on this set...except the MENU function. It will appear on screen for 1-2 seconds then disappear. I am afraid the CPY on the main board has issues. Tried to find firmware..no dice. Vizio only provides updates to sets with wireless through the internet. Thought maybe a firmware issue but without MENU, I cannot connect to wireless or wired network.

Could this be caused by a failed U405 as in some other cases?

        Possible eeprom fault
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Could try this, might not work tho if no menu shows up.

Press the "Menu" button along the left side of the Vizio TV.

Press the "VOL-" button along the left side of the Vizio TV until the Settings icon in the shape of a wrench is selected, then press "CH-" until "Reset All Setting" is highlighted.

Press "VOL+." The Vizio TV will restart with the factory settings.

How to access Vizio m652i-b2 service menu
              by tusiime
The current main board on my Vizio m652i-b2 only has 1 of 4 HDMI ports working. Also, the coaxial port is not working.

So I ordered a replacement board. It boots up the tv, but the display is dark in areas, colors are off, etc. I have seen information online that a setting in the service menu may need to be adjusted. Have tried many ways to access the service menu using remote codes, but none work.

Can someone here provide the confirmed method for accessing the service menu on this tv? Thanks in advance!

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
              by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...
