Re: Samsung 37 LE37A558P3F wrong colors

I checked again and my board doesn't show any PCBA sticker...So am I limited to ordering anyone with the same P/N and same appearance?
    Thanks!

I see the bar code sticker in your post so I do not understand why you are saying there is no sticker.

Ok I was expecting to read PCBA:xxxx in the sticker as usual. Is 55xxx what I should use for PCBA?

See post 17 and look at your sticker, that is how I got the number from your picture.
          55.37T04.C01
Shopjimmy also shows the highlighted numbers.
SJ:" Part number can be found on the sticker."

I can't find this specific part on sale...some ebay hits but then it shows "sold"....
Hopefully we are not wrong in that the specific PCBA 55.370T04.C1 thing has to match...
I am checking repair services that replace the AS15F chip...

Re: Samsung 37 LE37A558P3F wrong colors

Ok, last update on this. I finally have it back to working. I found a guy who repairs these T-con boards (replace AS15F) on ebay. Sent it and just got it back repaired. Put it back into the TV and it seems to work fine.
Only thing I miss in it, is DVB-HD, it doesn't support HD channels.
Maybe it¡s a silly question, but is there a way to get HD on it? Maybe there's another TV which shares all the LCD and boards with this one, and is HD, so locating a spare Main board from that other TV would get me HD?? Ok dismiss it if it's very silly

                Thanks all!!

Not sure: To watch Freeview HD signals you'll need a device capable of decoding the DVB-T2 signal. That'll either be a simple Freeview HD tuner (set-top box), a Freeview+ HD PVR box (which will allow you to record shows as well as pause and rewind live TV) or a new TV with a DVB-T2 tuner built-in.Jul 13, 2011

Yes I know I can use an external DVB-T2 tuner, but it's a pain cause I would have to be using 2 remotes, I have gone thru that before on older TV sets and it sucks
I was wondering if there is an alternate Main board (from maybe a newer Samsung TV) that also fits this TV and does DVB-T2 so it would be "built-in"
                    Thanks

Good question, here in the States every flat panel I've dealt with has a digital tuner for ota broadcasts, looks like you guys had some kind of a signal change after they started making flat panels. Our switch to only digital was in 209 if I recall but my 2006 sharp flat panel came with a digital tuner and works, older crt tvs here need the converter boxes for ota.

Yes here (Spain) DVB-T1 broadcasting started in 2005, but they let the analog channels to co-exist for several years. In 2010 they performed what they called "The analog shutdown". During these years all TV channels started their secondary HD (DVB-T2) broadcasting. Now we have all the major channels both in T1 and T2, while the local channels usually operate only in T1 still.
Flat TV's here have been sold with only analog, analog+T1, and Analog+T1/2, depends on the year.
So we've needed external digital tuners for all CRT TV's, plus some of the first flat panels sold here as well.
This one is An+T1 only so I would like to upgrade it to T2 if possible in fear of an upcoming ""DVB-T1 shutdown"

Absol. no, your model is not DVBT-HD and you can't upgrade to any other boards... You if really want it, you must swap your model with models like LE37B530 or LE37B650

Yes I know my model is NOT HD, my question is if other HD TV boards are swappable with mine. Like, for instance, if those LE37B530 or LE37B650 you mentioned, have a main board that's compatible with the rest of boards (T-Con, power supply, etc) in my TV set so I can buy a spare Main board from those to turn mine into HD
                            Thanks
