Originally there was no picture on all inputs. Found lots of bad solder on the power supply. Noticed that the X-main was buzzing really loud prior to re-flowing solder. It is still noisy but considerably less now. The picture is jerky when on any input but not on a test pattern or the on screen menu. When the picture jerks some times I loose all video except the on screen menu. I am leaning towards a bad main board and was hoping for anyone's input. I did not find any bad solder on the main board and the system firmware is up to date.

Bad main board. Also on a side note the Xmain be louder sometimes then others due to flexing the TV back-and-forth with the back off.Did I leave the soldering iron on? -
Re: samsung PN60E7000FFXZA jumpy picture
You can always try heating up various parts of the main board to see if the issue straightens out while are watching the screen. It's likely cause is a flaky eeprom, bad BGA underneath the main processor or ram I c's located around the processorDid I leave the soldering iron on?Comment

by JJAAMMThis was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.
Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode... -
by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started βfading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly βnew' Tcon board this time, and... -
by YellowJacketHi friends,
a friend of mine gave me this TV to fix, with common SAMSUNG TV issue - damaged panel. Turning on, sound is present, but no picture. So I went directly to standard process, connecting two pads together with a wire ( see in the picture ), and then removing flex cables. With right flex connected, there was half screen working, but still no picture ( disappearing colors and similar weird stuff ) + working sound. With left flex connected, TV is restarting + working sound. I supposed, left side is damaged, so I then blocked all 8 CLK pins ( going from 0R resistors on the second... - Loading...
