    Sharp Aquos LC48LE653U.

I have recently received a Sharp Aquos LC48LE653U which starts up and displays the Sharp logo, then shuts down and restarts again and displays the logo repeatedly.I did a reset which did not work.

I recently had this same issue with a LC-32LE653U. I knew the problem was a Main Bd. issue but couldn't figure out what was wrong. I even tried to update the EEPROM and that failed. I found a replacement on e-bay and that saved my TV. I also discovered there are same models with different Main Bd. There are some other Nos. that MUST match though, for the T-CON to match. The Nos. on my board was Sharp LC-48LE653U Main Board 3648-0122-0150 (4A). The 3648-0122-0150 (4A) were the important Nos. Though it was for a 48" TV it worked on my 32". What are the Nos. on your board?

Did you ever repair this TV?

Read my post. Problem solved. The good news is that you do not even have to open up the TV!
