    Tevion Tv Led flashing (Vestel)

    Hello!
    I have problem with my tv which I'm trying to repair.
    It's Tevion(Medion) MD20163 26 inch LCD TV.
    It's Vestel with 17mb35-4 motherboard, and 17pw26-4 power supply.

    Tv was on, when electricity got gone in my house. When current came back, I tried to turn on tv, but i had no luck.
    When I try to turn on TV, LED first turns on, and it's start dimming(I don't know how to describe that) for a second, like it has some voltage drop, and then start to flash every few seconds.

    I oppened TV and everything looks ok, there is one a little bulged capacitor on power supply board, but I don't think that that is a problem, but I will change it. I measured voltages and it looks ok, I will do that once more because I didn't tried to measure in moment of dimming led.

    If you have any suggestions or advice where I can start please post it.

    EDIT: I found a way how to turn on tv. When led is flashing, I need to turn off power switch, and if I turn it on again in right moment(about 2,3 secounds) it doesn't start dimming, and tv turns on like normal... What can be problem

      It could be the small electolytic caps that are bad, They are usually around 10 to 47 uf around 50 volts, The schematic I have lists them as c801, c892
      when those caps go bad the power supply has a hard time starting, trying to turn on the tv multiple times will finally charge the caps enough to keep the supply running.

          As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
          I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

          As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

          There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

          Hello, i have some issues with my laptop Lenovo Y700-17ISK (motherboard BY511 NM-A541), it started when i turn on the laptop, but the lcd wont turn on, i then connected it via hdmi to tv and screen was ok. So i thought maybe lcd stripe is faulty, i removed the bottom cover, disconnected main battery, reset the cmos by disconnecting battery for 1 min, then slighty move the lcd stripe. Conncted power supply and tuned on my laptop, the lcd turn on, it started to load os, then it turn off, after a second it turn on, then after like 3 seconds turn off again, and so on. Removed power supply, waited...

          Hello,
          I need advice in troubleshooting Telefunken TV (it is actually Vestel). There is red Standby light but TV cannot be turned on either by remote control (which is good and tested on another TV) or by actual on/off switch at the back of the TV.
          Power board is Vestel 17IPS71 and I'm not sure about the mainboard, it seems like 17MB82S
          Both boards are shown in the attached photos.

          What is normally first that is checked in this case. I have removed power board, make sure it has no dangerous voltage on the big caps and check many components (transistors and diodes)...

          Hello again! I have come back for some wisdom and hopefully for some guidance with this problem I'm having. The TV is a 4k 55" Sharp LC-55p6050u and the problem is every other line of the bottom 32 lines flickers out, comes mostly back, then flickers out again, and repeats this continually. The lines on the bottom right of the screen go out completely while the lines on the bottom left are affected so slightly that it's almost impossible to see it. There is a gradual gradient from appearing almost perfectly fine on the bottom left, to an obvious problem on the bottom right.
