Vizio 6632L-0392A/6632L-0393A Inverter Kit GV47LFHDTV10A VO47LFHDTV10A
Since you have BL-ON signal and 24Vdc to run the boards, then the next thing to do is to get the repair kit:

I hope you have good experience with SMD reworks.Last edited by budm; 12-09-2017, 09:29 PM.Never stop learning

Re: v047lhdtv10a
Well, look at that multiple pin SMD IC and see if you can remove it without damaging the traces, only you can tell if you can do it or not, and also putting the new one on without bridging the pins.
Willing to spend money on proper tools? It is not for beginner.
It takes lots of practice.Last edited by budm; 12-10-2017, 12:56 AM.Never stop learning

Re: v047lhdtv10a
Thank you so much for the advice and patience. So in your professional opinion you think the inverters are bad? I may just have to put this TV on the back burner for the time being. The reason I got into working on these was to fix my TV which is an LG 50ln5100. I am pretty sure that I've narrowed it down to the LEDs. Seems to be pretty common.Comment

Re: v047lhdtv10a
At this point, yes.
It has the required supply Voltage (24VDC) and the on command signal to run the board.Never stop learning

by cmg3631Hello all!
I have been working at a Vizio vo47lfhdtv10a. I am at a point where I am confounded. I replaced 2 680uf 35v caps on both the slave and master that were bulged. Nothing. Then I found bad 470uf 35v under the heat shield on main power. I replaced it with a 1000uf 35v that I had. My understanding on that it is ok to go equal or higher. Still nothing. What has me baffled is I am supposed to have 0 voltage on pin 1 power on/off but I have 15.5v when tv is off but 3.13 when I power on. These were the readings even before I changed the caps. Any help?
Thank you,

Hi
I am quite baffled at this PSU that came out from an dead HP d530 (asus P4SD). Tested all the common failed components, all are fine. D2/3 are both fine. Not shorted in any way. Recapped the whole 5VSB board and the PSU came "back" from the dead (earlier there was a short from neutral to earth, went away disassembly). Now even with 5 load HDD's it's still turning off after a split second. All diodes seem to be fine. Caps are OST, which IMO rarely die. There is 3.3v on PS_ON and 5V on 5VSB. Removed most of the glue there was (pictures don't show it). The traces that look...3 Photos -

by SuperAmanI have had an issue that I've never come across in all my years of laptop repairs and it has happened twice in the last couple of weeks. The issue occurred on 2 laptops.
1. The first laptop a Lenovo Yoga 7 convertible 14 inch 13th gen i7. This laptop came in working, customer wanted to replace the top keyboard assembly for cosmetic reasons so I replaced the keyobard assembly and put their touchpad in it. After booting into windows it would not work, so I assumed I needed to update it or something. Since they didn't give me the Admin account, as it was a company laptop and the...08-31-2024, 07:30 PM - Loading...
