    PS42A457P1DXXU power problems

Hi I'm hoping someone will be able to help me I have this Samsung PS42A457P1DXXU. I'll try to explain as best as I can. When powered on it does all the usual. Red light goes off it clicks and screen lights up. That's basically it when it on there is no picture although the screen is lit up and the buttons on the TV do not work or respond I have to unplug it then it clicks off and screen goes black cycle is repeated if I plug it back in. I've had the board's off and cannot see anything obvious that sticks out all the caps look ok although one looks like it's been replaced at some point in the past. (Cannot remember where the TV came from) as it's bright blue and the rest are green or black. Any help or suggestions is greatly received and thank you for taking time to read this.

Don't know if you can force test pattern. At first thought this was lcd. Not a plasma expert.

Hi thanks for your reply. Although I am unsure what force test pattern means. I'm fairly new to TVs

If you can get pictures of all the boards, there should be a set of jumpers that will produce a test pattern set.

Picture of whole back of tv. Is there a board under the main board?
