    Samsung 60" Plasma PN60F5350BF - Vertical pixels

    Hello all,

From what I understand, this panel is probably bad. It looks like vertical lines are developing. They kind of flicker and change. Before I get in too deep, can anyone give their 2 cents on the likelihood of it being the panel? Pics below.

    Thanks!

Samsung Plasma Intermittent Vertical Bars (repeatable) PN50B430
      by JesusJones
Trash picked this plasma for parts and found it had some bad solder joints. It powered on after reworking most of the boards and seems like it may even work.

The symptoms is, when showing a picture of bright (mostly white) intensity (within the affected area only) a vertical strip 2 3/4" wide will begin to fuzz out (just to the right of samsung logo, 16 3/8" from screen edge), and soon turns black (from top to bottom). Changing to a darker scene immediatley ater will cause the black stripe to fade back in (it fuzzes and clears up again) and it starts working just fine....

Colorful LCD Vertical Lines on Samsung ue55es8090
      by Falki
Hello there, ive recently found an older 55inch Samsung SmartTV.
Sadly it has vertical lines at the left and one line in the middle-right.

I have already tested out the connections and have looked at the soldered ribbons of the LCD panel to see if some contacts got loose by pushing them a bit but with no success.
I have factory resetted the TV as well but also with no luck.

I am afraid that it is indeed a LCD Panel issue but there are NO scratches or any impact-marks..

A similar issue has been posted as well but also with no actual response ...

Samsung LC32HG70QQUXEN - vertical and horizontal stripes across the screen
      by kotel studios
      Hi,

Just now my Samsung LC32HG70QQUXEN monitor gave up on me. On cold boots I get many vertical stripes going across the screen (see the attached picture). After it runs for 1-2 minutes those go away but there are horizontal stripes going across the whole screen no matter of the input and PCs I use. (couldn't take an picture of it since the image size goes to 20MB and the camera doesn't pick them up)

In a video about a 27" monitor with an similar issue the guy removes one resistor and supposedly the entire monitor goes back to life? For sure this fix is only temporary....

Samsung Plasma TV with vertical lines (model PN50B430P2D)
      by afex
This is my 2nd broken TV I'm trying to fix and haven't been able to figure out... currently going without any working TVs so am hoping to be able to fix one..

This Samsung PN50B430P2D Plasma has this big block of vertical lines which will fade in shortly after turning the TV on. The lines will sometimes flicker a bit or fade in/out and sometimes it just stays present. The length of time it takes them to appear varies, sometimes its a few minutes and other times it appears immediately after powering on.

I have attached an image of the TV with these bars displaying....
