LG 42pj350r turns on no picture

First, the TV just stuck in standby. I can't turn it on with the remote. then I read all the thread about it and concluded that the mainboard fails.

I replaced the mainboard, then it can turn on with the remote but just black screen. I can't open the menu and I can't turn the TV off with the remote so I had to plug off.

When I short the EXT_AUTO_GEN I can see the test pattern.
The mainboard that I bought was little different, but the seller told me that it was the same.

NB: The top mainboard is the new one, the bottom mainboard is the fail one that comes with the TV.

    Thanks

Sounds like your new main board is defective if you get test patterns and both boards have the same fault.

Very small chance the LVDS cable is damaged, so inspect it carefully.

This is my first post on this forum, and my first attempted repair of a modern flat-screen LCD-TV (though I have repaired a few LCD-monitors, all with Elco-problems (high ESR). I have repaired my fair share of TV-sets and VCRs in the past ('90s) and was fairly familiar with the different Philips chassis (KT-3M, K12, K2, K3, K7 are some that come to mind). So I have a fair bit of experience on old sets. Obviously, modern TV sets are quite a different cup of tea.... no HOT or flyback-transformer inside, for starters....

The set came into my possession by accident,...

        AOC AG493UCX 49-inch monitor - Firmware request
        by wattage
        Hello Badcaps Community,

I purchased a preowned AOC monitor that is not working and out of warranty. It was sold as not working. I am looking for guidance on self-repair. In particular, I am after the firmware for the monitor. At the end, I have included monitor model information and links to pics and vids of the issue.

The problem is that it will not display a picture on any of its inputs. And the on-screen menu does not appear. The power button works properly. It powers on with the remote as well. But the on-screen menu does not appear, even when not connected to any...

un60j620dafxza - Samsung No Display Problem
        by stylishconsultant
        Hi All,

        Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....

2 LG TV's in same room, one remote turns both on or off ...
        by SluggerB
I have 2 LG TV's in a room. It seems the power button is the only IR button on the remote, since pressing the power button on either remote turns on/off both TV's. Once turned on, the remotes only work on their respective TV's (that is a setting I set on each, I gave each it's own ID)

I have "solved" the issue by putting electrical tape over most of the sensor on front of the TV's so they dont pick up the other remote's signal, but I was wondering of there was a more elegant electrical fix that could be done on the board of the remote and/or TV to make the remotes...

Samsung UE40K1502AKXXH - flashing LED, no life but still responsive
        by Sebastijan V.
So, I got this UE40K1502AK(XXH) TV from a friend.
TV has no picture or sound, but it reacts on remote control and power button on bottom side.

        - When plugged into mains, the LED is red on. If I use remote to power it on for the first time, it flashes 6x then LED remains off. I assume this would be the same as by normal tv?
        - LED also flashes fast when I push any button on remote controller. If I turn it off with remote, the LED will lit solid red. And by next turn-on with remote, it flashes 5x. Also will flash fast when any remote button is pressed.
        - The background...
