Hello friends, i have read a lot of the related forum threads... here is my issue. TV was dead, no stand by lights. Replaced a bad fuse and a bulging cap. in the power board. no I have the stand by light, when i press power the red light goes away and the relay clicks but the tv stays black.i can hear the normal plasma hum sound. i have check the some of the voltage readings at "stand by pins "and get 5v. but when i test the pin that reads 12v get a nominal .7volt... i can see any other damage on this board. is there anything else i can check or should I just replace the power board? thanks so much! (as all of them thru the years Ive replaced 3-4 caps and endless counts of fuses... but this one is killing my brain cells, i hate spending money on parts that may not fix issues, and cant return. tv has given about 10 yrs of love and its a part of my living room family)

Re: Samsung FPT5084 Plasma 50 inch, red light, relay clicks, no picture.
when i apply power, and hit the power button, the red light blinks/flashes 4 times slowly as to normal power up, then goes away, but tv picture does not even blink. on the power board there is a small circuit board that has a little led green illuminated at all times. just more amplifying info! -

You really need some pictures of rear of set showing all boards and connections. Look on power or main board for vs-on connection and measure its voltage before switch on then after switch on.Comment

by RensieeHello,
I have been reading a few threads on here regarding Panasonic plasma tv's. I've found one thread which explains the same problem as mine, unfortunately the thread has not been completed.
I got a free tv (TH-50PX8EA) from a friend which shows no screen. When plugged in only one red light shows up and when pushing the ON button, the red LED turns of and will only turn on again when pressing the ON button again.
When plugging in the TV i hear two relays click fast and after a few seconds the third relay clicks.
I have measured the voltage in the VSUS line, which...06-18-2024, 12:58 PM -
by HonkBeep04Hello everyone! I picked up this 65" ST50 plasma TV for $80 on Facebook marketplace two weeks ago. I have the basic electronic knowledge of a teenage computer geek, having assembled laptops and PCs and messed with soldering and software.
This afternoon I decided to disassemble it to mitigate a buzzing noise. This is a well known issue for this TV ever since they were new. The popular solution is to replace the loose internal screws for ones with lock washers, preventing any future buzzing. I figured that I could just fully loosen and tighten all of the screws securing the... -
by thstuffA) TV initially dead
B) On a hunch of a locked up Google OS, plugged in a USB memory stick with latest FW and plugged it in. It booted into the update screen, completed the update and restarted to Home screen.
C) Was able to perform a Reset from Settings menu and completed out of box configuration.
D) Ran a 4K screen saver demo for about 6 hours, then turned it off for the day. Did not notice any stripes, dead zones or other artifacts in the image.
E) Powered back on and it now runs for a few minutes before relay clicks, screen goes blank, Main Board Red Digital Optical... -
by sam_sam_samI have a Lithonia Lighting 65-Watt Gray Hardwired Compact Fluorescent
I also have back when Light of America had these light bulbs available for yard lights
The issue with Light of America was the blast boards had all most certain board failure while bulbs hardly ever fail
While the Lithonia lighting fixture has all most certain bulb failure
So I have modified the Lithonia lighting fixture to accept the Light of America light bulb and see how long this will last
I have only had this light fixture for not more than a year if it... - Loading...
