You need to remove all the burnt PCB first.

That board is dangerously close to being unrepairable.

Because that is on the mains side, you have an arcing risk.

You need to remove all carbonised material and ensure that the live, neutral and earth terminals are all sufficiently isolated from the damaged material first.

Yes i do realize there is alot of damage would i be better off just cutting a square hole. And then patch it

First try to remove as much carbonisation using isopropyl alcohol or acetone (careful on the silkscreen print marks as acetone will remove them, component identifiers etc).

Then use a bit of sandpaper to take anything else off that is left

I wouldn't recommend cutting parts out, because then you'd have no way to support the replacement bits.

With this level of damage I'd seriously consider ordering a replacement PSU because you may never be able to safely repair it.

                Hi,
Is that a BN44-00183A? I can check tomorrow if I have one of those kicking around.

If it is the BN44-00183a, here is the schematic
The area that is burnt is where the 2 thermistors get connected in series, should'nt be too difficult to connect them together above the burt area.
