What is your top list of spares you would always keep in stock for LED/LCD TV repair?

Hey, this could be a bit of fun. I was thinking about this having come across some common faults now like AS15 chips

When I find a fault on anything I often order one or two extra of the spares, if they are inexpensive, on the basis if something has failed I will probably find the same fault again in the future.

So I was thinking, living on this little island here, it is worth me getting a better stock of parts specifically for LCD/LED TVs

I have a good stock off passive and general components, diodes, transistors etc like most folk I guess

But more specific for LED/LCD TV repair is there a kinda top 10 or top 20 semiconductors / ICs or other parts that really should be kept in stock for a repair workshop as they are common failures you see again and again?

Over to you, what do you keep and why?

If you do not have LED tester, get one.

Buy your replacement LEDs in lots of 100. They are fairly cheap and you will need to have almost all styles that are in use.

Need real mobo dump of BIOS v402 for ASUS PRIME Z590-A - stock image no help
          by DynaxSC
          Hi,

I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.

Usually on ASUS boards it worked...

Recapping Sony ICF-SW55 - verifying cap values
          by proxneo
          Dear reader

I am performing a repair on a Sony ICF-SW55, which includes recapping (some) of the SMD capacitors on the mainboard. I am looking for verification of their values. At the moment, I'm 95% sure I've got the right values, but it is hard to find some official, credible or multiple independant sources on this.

At the moment, I have selected replacements based on the following list of values:

          3 x 470uF 10VDC
          3 x 4.7uF 35VDC
          4 x 47uF 50VDC
          8 x 22uF 6.3 VDC
          1 x 220uF 6.3VDC
          5 x 100uF 6.3VDC

          Which...

Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01 Schematic and Parts List
          by Mark D
The TV is a Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01. I replaced the power source board and the TV is now working, but I decided to try and troubleshoot the old board to fix at the component level. Trying to get a schematic and a parts list has proven to be an issue. Trying on my own, I can't tell you how many times my Norton security has flagged sites as "malicious". I ordered a service manual from ServiceManuals.net, paid $16.99 and got 66 pages of everything BUT schematics and component parts list! Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Some of the surface mounted component parts...

          List of compatible laptop motherboards
          by Deby

This is a list of compatible laptop motherboard information that I have been collecting for some time.
          And it's still ongoing.
Every time I come across information that a board is compatible with another, I write it down.
Anyone who wants to, can continue to expand the list.
Packed in the rar, is an excel table that has additional information.

MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 - real bios dump from board needed (no stock bios)
          by DynaxSC
Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).

I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...
