    Samsung LN52A550- Tab Bonds???

I have an LN52A550 that I bought off of craigslist. The problem lies either with the panel or the tab bonds, but I don't have enough experience to figure it out. What began as just a band of colored lines across the screen has turned into those same colored lines, but now that entire half of the screen is black.

I have tried the tab bond repair methods mentioned throughout these forums, but I haven't had any success with them. I have also replaced the T con board, and it did not change anything.

On startup, the lines are visible while the rest of the screen is still black. The menu does not override the lines, and all functions of the screen on the right side are BEHIND the lines/black screen.

I've attached pictures, but the lines are hard to see in them. They are right next to the halfway mark on the screen - where the picture works. The black screen image is right after startup, before the picture is on, and the colored lines are still visible.

Could you take some pictures of the tabbonds? This looks like a panel failure.
I only repair Panasonic plasma tv's! Currently owning a TX-P55VT50 and still searching for a ZT60!

I'll throw up pictures when I get home later today. I did forget to mention that I put some thermal conducting tape stuff on all of the tab bonds, stuff from digikey that I believe was something budm suggested.

        Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
        by jeyoung12
        Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...

        Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
        by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...

        Samsung UE55JU6800K half screen dark
        by Chrissygizmo
Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.
I put the screen back in place & turned it back on . The screen seemed to be ok again but different screens on the same...

Samsung QE50Q60TAU - Horizontal screen lines
        by Runlinc
Hi everyone, the tv was in a continuous reboot cycle. To get the best screen image i can I taped the VGH and VSS pins on the left side buffer board joining ribbon.

I am left with a good image apart from the black horizontal lines that I cannot get rid of.

I cannot find anything on the buffer boards that has shorted.

Do you think there is anything i can do to eliminate the lines, or are they caused by an internal panel short and the image cannot be impoved.

        Many thanks for your assistance

samsung galaxy ao2s very temperamental after screen replaced
        by Chrissygizmo
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...

The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...
