You can scope the differential pairs and you will get a mirrored pattern on each pair and you will at least know if maim is sending out data.

To be honest, I'm not sure the tip of my probe is small enough to not short out adjacent pins on the LVDS cable. The exposed solder pads I'd have to touch are TINY

With extreme care, I could probably do it. What initial settings should I look at on my scope as far as Voltage and Time?

Something about the time not being correct due to the TV be coming unplugged and power being removed from it I was hoping it was something nice it wasn't
