Clicking noise on the PSU of a Samsung PS50A456P2D (Plasma) What does it mean?

Hi all, to explain quickly and easily I made a video - https://youtu.be/eBrfw383xl8

Basically after looking on youtube, I separately unplugged the Y and X board and still the clicking noise occurs. Does this point to the actual PSU board being the issue? How can I begin to basically troubleshoot down which board is the issue?

I can't visibly see any blown out caps, so (I still haven't figured out how to check them), but I think I just want/need to replace a board, but not sure which board yet.. If anyone can assist with that?

    Test voltages for a start.

Sounds like a power supply problem to me. Output voltages of the power supply would need to be checked. Post results but you may need to find a service manual. It will be hard to get voltages if the power supply is cycling.

Hi guys, FYI please have some extra patience with me, I am learning as I go, so sorry if I'm slow.

I actually did voltages (BEFORE the clicking started) and I was not getting any power across to the y/x boards, but the battery in the multi-meter is low and I'm getting that sorted today before I check again, but hence why I was asking if no power is reaching to the other it must mean the power board is not working but still cycling? I'll confirm if that's the case before moving on.

samsung power supplies seem too suffer from bad/cracked solder joints so maybe worth re flowing any parts that are attached to the heat sinks capacitor testing you need a meter that measures capatience and esr.
