toshiba 40" 4055xv1db horizontal lines untill warmed up? bad panel?

Got the above TV found in the back alley, decent TV when its warmed up and screens all fine.

Decent TV once warmed, but untill then, there will be 3 horizontal lines evenly spaced across the TV, on the right hand side and seems to be like a double image and a smear only so much of the right hand side.

Exact the same as what this man described in this thread HERE, goes on to post pictures here. Of the exact problem just on a samsung TV.

If I get the right point of the TV and use the ringing effect mentioned else were and in the thread I linked to the picture goes correct leaving me to think it is the panel.

is there a fix for this?

    Thanks

                    Hi all,

My TV had been showing for the last year some faint horizontal lines on all of its right side, about one out of each 4 of 5 rows of pixels. Not much of a bother, they were unnoticeable when watching a movie. Then, all of a sudden the horizontal lines became much stronger and crossed the whole screen, effectively making it a pain to watch.

I watched some youtube video where some guy "fixes" it with some tape on the ribbon cable of the t-con, so I tried that, but to no avail. Actually, after putting the TV back together again things worsened: apart...

Samsung QN70Q6DTA Ghost or horizontal lines after tape fix horizontal line
                    by Ihandyrepair
                    Hi guys

I just started fixing 4k TV few months ago. so I am still learning a lot
I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

never saw the original symptom but I took the tv back home. the funny part is that after bringing to home, the tv worked fine no issue for 3 weeks.
then it started to show the ghosting white image.
I started using the tape method, but this tv does not have a T con board and it has only 1 ribbon cable from main board to the tv panel.
it has 3 thin small boards at the bottom of the...

Sony XBR-65X750D Horizontal lines bottom of screen
                    by ggil44
Hi, I have a Sony XBR-65X750D that has horizontal lines at the bottom 6 inches of the screen. These lines appear to be every other line because the picture is still quite visible behind those lines. The lines appear all the time with a few other lines above and below the 6 inch level blinking on and off at about 2 second intervals. I'm not sure if this is a panel issue or power supply/main board problem. I did replace the T-Con board without any change in the problem. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
